Dispatch Work in GTA Online offers players a fresh way to earn rewards by taking on unofficial law enforcement tasks for Officer Vincent Effenburger. Introduced as part of the Bottom Dollar Bounties update, these Freemode activities allow players to patrol Los Santos and complete targeted assignments. Knowing the setup requirements and step-by-step procedures will ensure you can jump straight into the action without delays.

Prerequisite Missions and Setup Requirements

Before you can participate in Dispatch Work, you must complete the initial Slush Fund mission from The Cluckin' Bell Farm Raid as a leader. Finishing this mission unlocks the ability to purchase decommissioned law enforcement vehicles from Warstock Cache & Carry. You do not need to own a separate business, but having a personal police vehicle is essential to trigger these jobs.

Players can choose from several qualified cop cars, including the Stanier LE Cruiser, Unmarked Cruiser, or Greenwood Cruiser. Once you acquire an eligible vehicle, save it as your active personal vehicle in Freemode. Having this owned police vehicle active is the core requirement to access Vincent's radio prompts.

How to Trigger Dispatch Work Missions

To launch a job, step inside your personal law enforcement vehicle while in a Freemode session. Make sure you are not registered as a CEO, VIP, or MC President, as these statuses block mission access. Once inside, wait a few seconds for Officer Vincent to contact you over the police radio.

Press the right thumbstick (R3/RS on controllers) or the designated key on a keyboard to send a request signal. When the prompt appears on your screen, accept the dispatch request by pressing right on the D-pad. Vincent will then assign you a quick tactical mission somewhere across San Andreas.

Mission Variety and Completion Tips

Dispatch Work includes several varied scenarios, such as taking out gang leaders in Civil Disturbance or recovering stolen evidence in Officer Monitored. Other tasks involve disarming explosives or eliminating hostile targets guarded by armed muscle. Most tasks take only five to ten minutes to complete, making them efficient solo activities.

After completing an assignment, you receive a standard payout of $25,000 and 500 RP. There is a short one-minute cooldown before you can request the next job from your vehicle. Completing multiple dispatch tasks also unlocks discounted trade prices for additional police cruisers.
